Raindrops pouring water
Surrounding me in its sadness
Washing away all of the memories
And replace my soul with sorrow.
It sings a melancholy song
Of lost hope and disappearing dreams
Goals that were never reached,
And the failures of our kind.
I lift my face to the darkened sky
Watching the rain slide down my face
Staring into emptiness
